A façade is the face of a house and shows the style of the people who live in it. The aim of the Baumit Life Challenge is to promote imagination and craftsmanship. To show that there is a lot of valuable and creative potential in plaster and the combination of different materials, texture, form and color.
After 2014 in Vienna (Austria), 2016 in Madrid (Spain), and 2018 in Bratislava (Slovakia) the Baumit Life Challenge 2020 will take place at the winner’s country in Valencia, Spain at L’Hemisferic, on 14th of May 2020.
The event is expected to attract about 500 guests from all 25 Baumit countries, with the best Baumit architects, investors and partners. More than 300 projects will be judged in 6 categories by a high caliber panel of independent experts.
At the moment we are collecting the submissions of the best facades from each Baumit Country. From February 2020 to March 2020 you will have the chance to take part at the public voting for the best façade of Europe! These are the categories to win:
Single Family House
Multi Family Residential
Non-residential
Thermal Renovation
Historical Renovation
Stunned by Texture
